Welcome to the website of Ramelton Cottages. Located on the outskirts of the Heritage Village of Ramelton, our holiday homes are ideally based for a family holiday in Donegal. Our cottages are located circa 1km from the beautiful town of Ramelton. Today Ramelton is a bustling village, full of character and modern amenities, however it has managed to protect its Georgian heritage, and this is reflected in its many Georgian buildings and the warmth and friendliness of its residents. Proximity to Letterkenny, Donegal’s main town, makes Ramelton an ideal spot for exploring the natural beauties of Co Donegal while still being close to theatre, cinemas, swimming pool, shopping etc. Whether its exploring, or relaxing Ramelton cottages will provide the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable break.

A tastefully restored stable building attached to a large Victorian house in the heritage village of Ramelton in County Donegal.The renovation of the stable has maintained its traditional style with stone walls, wooden beams, and a large open fire to make up the very attractive self-catering cottage. Everything in Ramelton is within walking distance - the shops, pubs, restaurants and country market. A tennis court is located at the rear of the cottage and is available to visitors.

The Tanyard is a large Georgian building situated 100 yards upstream of the bridge over the River Lennon. The building dates back to the early 19th Century, and has been tastefully restored, with many of it's original features intact. Ramelton has been designated a national heritage Town, dating back to the 17th Century. It is situated on the River Lennon and has a wealth of architectural heritage and five Georgian town houses.
