Buncrana

Buncrana is located at the mouth of the Crana River on the east bank of Lough Swilly. The town's Irish name means "Foot of the River Crana" and one of its delights is the walk under beech, maple and lime trees beside the brown waters of the River Crana. It is the principal town of the Inishowen Peninsula and has a wide range of shops, bars, hotels and restaurants. A new car ferry service, in operation June - September, connects Buncrana with Rathmullan on the opposite side of the Lough.

Two traditional style Irish stone cottages that have been renovated and refurbished to afford comfortable, modern living. An ideal holiday home. These 4 star and 3 star cottages are set in a quiet rural area, where only the sounds of sheep can be heard occasionally. Magnificent views of the surrounding countryside, especially Lough Swilly are visible. The beach and the town of Buncrana are less than 2km away.
